fishing report indented heads

Post by Hectic habbib » Sat Jan 13, 2018 8:47 pm

hi guys i went out of indented heads a couple of days ago and went to the boat ramp near the yacht club and started at a red marker a bit of a way out. within a couple of minutes i got a couple of small flatheads and threw them back and ive gone its gonna be a bloody good fish, im drifting west of the marker and not a bite. the wind picked up so i went in a bit closer to the boat ramp, not a bite and went home empty handed. not the best day out ive had but beats work i guess :-D i hope this can help people about whats going on and pick a good day, cheers

Late report I fished st leonards pier Thursday night, took home two whiting @ 40cm and one pinkie @ 35cm... released 8 pinkies just under size and 6 banjo's. Also had a wooden squid spike out with a whole tommy rough bitten in half snapped right through the wood !

My guess is a very large squid, it was on a float well off the bottom and the bite looked like a very large beak had taken to it.
