next gen

Post by Nude up » Tue Oct 09, 2018 10:13 am

I finally managed a weekend to line up with me not working and my grandson and my daughter not having commitments he has wanted to go fishing for ages he is 5.
We put in at portarlington weather was great sunday, we headed over to around arther the great bouy anchored up a bit of berley and my grandson smashed the flathead and the odd banjo he loved it. As with all kids when it went quite and the food ran out it was time to go we managed about 4 hours but great fun was had by all.
He also wants to go again so hopefully this summer we can get more days to line up.

He'll remember that for ever...any tips on what food to give them whilst on board? (kids are filthy creatures...nearly went overboard slipping on instant noodles on Sunday)

My daughter catered Nutella sandwiches pringles and snakes fruit juice in a box. Best thing about grand kids you get to hand them back.

Love taking grandkids out. Looks like he had fun, and yes they do need to be wearing a lifejacket under 10 unless inside the cabin.
There's nothing . . . absolutely nothing . . . half so much worth doing as simply messing around in boats.
