matari, your word is good. Here in SA, the two gulfs aren't known for crays. The closer you get to the open ocean of the gulfs the more chance you have of getting one if you target them. So the upper parts of the gulfs don't have any in numbers to justify the effort.
But yes, ocean beaches, not sure why though.
