Land-based Salmon Bust up - 5 June 2023

Post by Andrews » Wed Jun 21, 2023 6:12 pm

Hey all,

Sharing a quick fishing flick land-based in the southern end of the bay.
Originally planned on chasing calamari this session then a school of salmon passed but I couldn't pass the opportunity.

Threw out the Zman 3" Minnowz in Bad Shad, paired with a 1/4oz 3o jighead.

12 casts, ten fish fishing in the shallows.
The bite stopped as dusk set in and the fish couldn't see the plastics.

How's the water clarity?
It's been blowing north wind.

Absolutely shocking, last week was the dirtiest it's been in years down here.
Just north wind after north wind.

Thanks mate, absolutely agree, never hurts having some plastics in the bag!
Water is clean at springs now.
