Early (6am) launch at one the less busy bellarine ramps, pitch black motoring out and fished various spots at the end of the mussel farm for a steady flow of modest size kgw through the day. A dusting of flatties rounded out the catch, approx 28 whiting and 4 flatties in total. Mackerel, yakkas, and small salmon were in plague numbers, only one undersized pinky and a few banjos, so the three of us were kept busy. Weather was indifferent. We headed in 1.30’ish. Plenty of fish in the ocean atm.
Cheers, Mat.
