Memories!
Took my nephews out today for a fish. Just to a lake in an estate that has Redfin my eldest nephew was first up with a small one about 20cm then my youngestt nephew got another around the same size.
After a lot of wind bites nagging about new worms and different spots my youngest nephew got actual bites so I told him to pick the rod up n pull it in. Then the reel gave a good scream I knew it was a good fish. We seen color and I was stoked he got a rippa! Didn't measure it but woulda been late 30's -40cm I got him to hold it up for a photo n glad he did! His gonna love this photo when his older!
Think they r both hooked now lol they want rods for Xmas! Happy uncle!

Good to see the young ones out fishing, don't forget to buy them lots of tackle too, cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Re: Memories!
The big thing is,you have given them the opportunity to experience the excitement, time will tell whether they get "The Passion" but they couldn't,t get a better start, well done Gav.

To find a fish
You do the miles.
Catch the fish
and earn the smiles.
Lord, allow me to catch a fish, so large that even I,when speaking of it afterwards.........May have no need to lie !!!
