Mill park lakes is right next to south morang (Westfield) on the way to Doreen from plenty rd.

I have caught hundreds of reddies in yarrambat park lake, a majority of them small but some decent ones mixed in.
Although this was a while ago.

Any of the lagoons along the yarra hold reddies and could be worth a go. Cheers muzza43.

Maggots. Lots and lots and maggots :) we used to catch 15-20 in about a 2 hour period. Some of them are quite small, but you do get the odd wolf. Try setting up closest to the fly fishers practice pond next to the building.

Hope it helps :)

There's a big pile of weed floating straight out in front of the small hill, should be able to be seen when the water is low, cast next to it normally there congregated around that. Good luck

I've heard the Mill lake in Broadford holds big reddies, I've never fished it, I've thought about it but other reports of what was dumped in there years ago put me off, cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

What was dumped there????

Mr mrs sister lives just near it so would be a good excuse for her to visit and me to fish haha.

There are heaps of tiny teddies in yarrambat but when I say tiny I mean smaller than your phone.

Is the mill park lake the one near the reception centre???

Thanks guys
