Hey all,
Was just going through my lures and plastics trying to decide what to use up the Goulborn river tomorrow, i found a little spinner bait and was wondering how they go for trout? Im always mixing it up and trying all types of lures and spinners but never tried a spinner bait for trout. Obviously a large trout would have a go but would a pan size trout have a crack at it?

Re: trout on spinner baits
I wouldn't be too confident using one. Bigger (3-4inch) plastics have been smashing the trout lately but I can see the skirt on the spinnerbait being a bit of a put off. But seeing as larger reddies will take them, it's definitely worth a go. I'd be putting a plastic on it for the tail action.
