Well after more than 12 months of building my boat swapping this and changing that, I'm finally of to the RTA tomorrow to register it. Thanks to all who advised and gave opinions on recent posts re: "where to put console" and "travelling with bow mount".
No chance of me waiting for the better weather to return so now I'm after opinions on where to take it for a trip.
My favourite type of fishing is trolling for trout, so how about some idea's or suggestions for a spot to try within 4 to 4 and a half hours from Melbourne in the middle of May?

Eildon.Launch from either jews or the alliance, both good ramps,some nice trolling near at hand and if there is a hiccup on the maiden voyage,fair chance there will be others around on the water.

Toolondo seems to be on fire but it's not first hand information.

I can back that up tools do is firing my fishing club has a trip there every year in June but a club member is in another club n they had a recent trip up there and bagged out! Also a 1.5kg reddie was caught

Wanting to give the boat a bit of a run so toolondo at 10% won't have a lot of room will it ?

Toolondo is a great option. Apart from that Purrumbete has been fishing well and Wendouree is starting to produce fish and should fire up over the next few weeks.
