Welcome to the site. Can't help you too much with your question as I don't fish there. I haven't heard much though in the way of reports from the area.
thanks

You'll probably need a boat to fish the lake.. but the pondage has been stocked and has been fishing alright lately but is very crowded at the same time..

if fishing the pondage go to the upper part pm me for more info. as far as the lake goes the best results have come from trolling for trout near the banks or river mouths and fishing for reddies has been slow but still possible.

I fished Eildon at the start of June. Fishing wasnt great but we did end up with around 20 Reddies. Best method was finding them on the sounder in around 30 foot of water and then jigging blades. We caught them up to around 1.5 pound.

Redfin aren't doing too bad, carp (if your interested) isnt doing too bad either and maybe if your lucky enough you might even get yourself a cod

It didn't matter what blades. We used Koolabungs and cheap ones that cost about $2 each. Reddies aren't fussy, get it in their face and they will take it.
