Waterways Estate Carp
Anyone ever fished Waterways estate in Aspendale Gardens? Heard there's some carp in there wouldn't mind doing a bit of pest control.
Cheers

No harm in trying a new spot for a few hours mate. I tried a new spot over Christmas that I thought might have reddies in there and ended up landing a cod

Re: Waterways Estate Carp
I dropped anchor because I wanted to go south a few km, guy I was fishing with wanted to go north a few km so we just dropped it there after an argument. Haha. Ended up getting 26 whiting over 42cm, a couple of gummies and a bunch of other things in the next couple of hours. New spots pay off sometimes hahaBoonanza wrote:No harm in trying a new spot for a few hours mate. Re: Waterways Estate Carp
Give the hardbody lures ago, for some reason the carp are all over them in there. There's also a chance of some good bycatch.

Re: Waterways Estate Carp
I've found the old reliable SX40 to be the best. It doesn't seem to matter which color, though the red with white stripe (340) seems to be the better. Also, that's my go-to lure for any scouting mission.purple5ive wrote:any specific type greggo, ive been meaning to hit this place for a while now.
