A Couple Of meaty Mud Marlin

Post by Whiskers » Sat Mar 11, 2017 9:12 pm

With my ankle still pretty sore I wnt back to the lake where I caught a tiny, tiny mirror carp a week or so ago.

No tiddlers today. Grandpa and grandma came out to play. 68 and 66 cm.

two mirrors in a session seems pretty unusual, there must be something extra toxic in that lake

Big mirrors, well done, cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Nice mirrors mate. I'm guessing a carp can be called a marlin in much the same way a turd can be called a brown trout.
