King Parrot Creek 21/05/17

Report is a bit late, but with the weather looking the goods, me and a mate went to King Parrot Creek on Sunday.

Started off just behind the Flowerdale pub without much luck seems like this area gets fished a lot more heavily than others.
So we decided to explore and head up stream a bit to try and find some other spots.

Managed to pull out a 4 browns, dropped a couple and had a few follows that didnt result in a hook up.
I was using cheap k-mart spinner (decided to go back to basics after a few recent donuts) and my mate a small wriggle tail gold coloured plastic.
Both methods proved successful.
All the browns were very healthy looking fish around 27-30cm nothing massive, but good fun nonetheless.
Not a great pic, but got some good go-pro footage of catching and releasing the fish.

Nice fish, haven't fished it for a while now and funnily enough I was over at Flowerdale Monday for work and thought it was about time I tried it again, cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Not like you to have a rod in the car. Reminds me at work once when an all staff email was sent asking if someone wanted claim the rod and reel left in the boot. Surprisingly, no takers.
