Werribee river

Post by Apples » Sun Sep 10, 2017 6:27 pm

Hi guys, i took the young fella down to the werribee river behind president park this afternoon for an hour or so. Fishing just using lures so he could get some casting practice as well. About the 3rd cast his lure was hit, winds it in with a 33cm redfin. But after that there wasn't much happening down there.

Fished the weir many times
I'd keep fishing where you got the reddie.
Obviously below the weir wall worked.

Be careful around the river, (any river for that matter)
There's some big tigers in residence
