A TROUT FISHERMAN’S “HELL”

This one has been around in various versions for a long time. Adrian will shoot me for this one!

Fred, a completely addicted trout fisherman, died and arrived at the pearly gates to be denied entry by Saint Peter – sorry Fred it’s off to hell for you – your addiction has caused too much misery to others! You neglected your family and spent all your money on fishing. Fred awoke to find himself sitting on the banks of a beautiful stream, his latest fishing rod in hand, and trout rising everywhere. Fred was confused – can this really be hell?

Fred cast out and immediately hooked a 2 pound trout. Next cast was the same - another 2 pound trout. This went on for some hours until Fred had sore arms but still could not stop. Even worse there were some huge trout swimming around but he could only hook the 2 pounders. The next day the same thing happened again – and Fred came to realize he really was in the trout fisherman’s hell.
