Usually wriggle tail or paddle tail plastics work well.

Casting small hardbodes like the atomic shads along the bank where there is some weed is the best for the Barwon, casting out to the middle is a waste of time unless you use blades, the best way is with a kayak casting back towards the bank

Cheers Cantcatchem, I'm camping up that way in a few weeks, I'll be sure to put a few hardbodies in the box.

Haven’t heard of too many people using hardbodies for Redding in the Barwon, but I will give it a try and see if I can catch a few!cantcatchem wrote:Casting small hardbodes like the atomic shads along the bank where there is some weed is the best for the Barwon, casting out to the middle is a waste of time unless you use blades, the best way is with a kayak casting back towards the bank
