The local

Post by blakesirus » Mon Oct 22, 2018 8:59 pm

Hi All,

Just a quick report on dande creek. 2 decent carp, one probs my PB and small redfin. Strangely all taken on bread. Also ran into a snake in the thick grass... thought it was dead but upon closer inspection and after watching it twitch realised it was most definitely not! Think it was probs a red-belly, black and shiny was coiled up but maybe 4 or 5ft in length... didn't hang around to take pic tho aha!

Cheers and hope all are enjoying the warmer weather,
Blake

As it is 'local', it obviously is an easy option to fish, regardless of what you catch! Not a bad effort and worth it as I guess you were not expecting much! I happily spend hours trying to assininate carp.
cheers
Jim

Shiny black usually is red belly. But there's plenty of Tigers around the creek in all suburbs it goes through so always pays to be vigilant
