Re: eildon pondage
Condition is probably not the best to fish there, but doesn't hurt to try.awfully_good wrote: ↑Tue Oct 18, 2022 6:41 pmhi everyone, long time lurker first time writing on the forum.

If water still dirty by then, best is with bait. Unweighted worm or mudeyes under a float.
You can catch fish pretty much anywhere you can find access. Riverside drive is quite popular.
Stop by Eildon tackle shop and ask for info, the guys there are very nice and helpful.

Re: eildon pondage
A bit warm for trout but the trout still need to eat. If you target them, fish sunrise and sunset.
Water temperature is definitely more suitable for cod and yellas, and reddies.
