Nice one, I tried last weekend for carp at a local creek but couldn’t entice a bite.. there was a bit of water flow, I believe this affects carp feeding, is that right?

On a side note - it’s nice to read an actual report rather than personality clashes

I went back down to the creek today, with twice the amounts of rods, equipment and confidence, expecting to catch at least twice as many as yesterday, but instead I caught NOTHING! ;-)

I'm not fishing again in winter this year.

The first day of spring has sprung,
T'was caught down the creek,
On a piece of bread, just before the rain begun.
Tis fair to say the 2019/20 carp season is well and truly open!

Went down to the creek yesterday and got this pig of a thing. Best fight I've ever had. Was full of eggs.

Approx. 74 cms.
