A couple of weeks back saw mullet, whiting, salmon, squid, toadies and puffer fish being caught from the pier. At night the sea lice was terrible.....

Exactly.

Fishos goto Lorne pier to catch fish .. yet they dont realise that the seals are their doing their own style of fishing; using the people on the pier as bait .. whom catch the fish, which then the seal says "Thank you."

You need to be impressed by these Seals though, they have it worked out. :D

Bloody plick seals stole my one and only salmon last week   After that I think the school became shy and they buggered off. Ended up feeding the baby seal left over pillies at the end of the day though :surrender:
When I got time,
I wet a line cos Im a junkie,
been fishin since a kid,
I like it cos it numbs me..

I dont mind the seal stealing my salmon, I was more upset when a salmon stole one of rods (my wife was suppose to be looking after) Bangg :icon_lolz:

All i saw was a rod fly straight into the drink.

However, it was an exuse to get another combo!
