Great Ocean Road

Post by Danners93 » Thu Jun 01, 2017 10:26 pm

Hey all,

Heading to the beach house in Moggs creek tomorrow for the weekend and plan on doing as much fishing as I can while I'm there. Besides the obvious of the surf beach in Moggs does anyone have any spots I should check out/ use as a backup plan if the beach is resulting in donuts? Will have a large array of rods/reels/baits/lures so anywhere is a good suggestion :) Will probably try Lorne pier saturday night seeing as it's not holiday season as well, will post a report if I get onto anything!

Cheers.

When at lorne don't cast to the right side of the pier. Snag town!
Let us know how you go as I'm heading down on the long weekend.

Try the mouth of Thompson Creek in Breamlea. When I was there 2 years ago it produced bream, mullets and plenty of juvenile salmons.
