Jan Juc beach
Jan Juc beach
Hi all, gave JanJuc a crack Friday morning from 12.30 -9.00am>Bait was baby squid and pillies, rigs were patternosta.5 oz star sinker with 2 size 5 circle hooks and sliding rig with 5 oz star sinker and 2 size 5 snelled normal hooks.Conditions were ok,light winds and fairly low swell, low tide about 1.00,high 7.30.There was a bit of weed around ,taking my lines down the beach every now and then ,not bad enough to bail though.Anyway the pinkies were biting from the start, with quite a few undersized ones.Squid was doing better than pillies, managed 4 keeper pinkies,1 salmon,1 eagle ray,and a good gummy right on daybreak, was stoked as,cant wait to hit it again.got a few pics but still cant get it to load, says file too large but it's only 1 or 2 photos so not sure if its my phone or what.Fished to the left of surf club about half way down.Night fishing is the go I reckon, less surfers and swimmers etc,no dramas.Have a good one.

Re: Jan Juc beach
good work mate. To post pics you'll have to shrink the file size. I send photos to my email from my phone, then on my laptop i use this website: https://www.imgonline.com.ua/eng/compress-image.php to shrink them. pretty straight forward. Reduce the mega pixels by 10 or 20% and the quality to 70 or 75, should have no problems uploading them once done that. would be awesome to see your pics, especially of the gummy  tight lines
