Covering a few areas with this report, but finished up off Torquay so this is where it goes! Started at Moolap Marine with well overdue motor n trailer service, very happy with the work, especially bearing redo, as finished work midday Thursday prior to the long weekend for the long tow up to Mathoura. Hit Murray Bank caravan park, dropped the boat in at picnic point and a leisurely cruise down to our jetty (with a refreshing beverage!) along the mighty Murray. Up early (relatively) and off all day fishing, bait, lure......, but didn't trouble the scorer! The 2 bro in laws n me kept well hydrated however, and ended up at the timbercutters bar for dinner, late night...! I was crisp the next morning, but at least one of the boys was decidedly dusty....... We hit the river again for another all day fishing stint and finally a cod!!!!, ahem, maybe 20cm... Another very social evening before packing up next morning and doing the long trek back. Hit a few logs but no serious damage. Back at Torquay checked the forecast and Monday morning looked the goods. Tipped in off the beach at 8am and headed out to the new FADS at the artificial reef. Everything still n quiet including the fishing. Motored round off Jan Juc with a strong SW brewing and suddenly the pinkies were on for a frenetic half hour, saving the day. 4 nice keepers for dinner, cooked on the bbq while that massive rain belt hammered through. What a way to end a busy few days of boating and general bad baehaviour!!
Cheers, Mat.

At least you ended up with a nice feed of pinkies which is always welcome.
Well done
