Just got a few nice salmon and want to know if i can use them as bait on point lonsdale pier for a gummy or snapper. I read somewhere i could no longer fish on the pier itself. is this true?

Yes you can, just don't get busted letting balloons off beyond the marine park boundary (50m from pier), lest you cop it like Bill...
