The sea was angry…
Not much happening, and by now a solid SE wind across the solid SW groundswell… Moved over to the artificial reef for any number of undersized pinkies. Repositioned further off the back and the mackerel fillet goes bang! Obviously good fish, and a nice gummy added. Enough for today, back to fishos, where I had been blocked in by cars…., had to unhook the trailer and with some tight manouvering extricated and from there a nice relaxed retrieve. Daz got the squid as a barely adequate return for hanging onto the boat at the launch, gummy for me and the fam

Well done. Would have been pretty rough out there.
Forecasters like Seabreeze have had it wrong so many times; its dangerous to count on just their forecast.
Even today their wind chart shows under 10knots but live wind reading is 17knots and climbing.
Looks like they just put up a graph and all went home for Xmas NY!

Lots of boats out, did look like most knew what they were doing. Bit frustrating not being able to access a dedicated park for car/trailer, on both launch and retrieve. Normally park and clean the fish at the fishos facilities, but couldn’t find a spot, had to clean them at home. Luckily the green bin was emptied today…
