Couldn't bring myself to eat fish for a while (lucky for them).
Anyway, I saw a few mulloways been caught there in the early morning by other anglers. They looked under size, but they kept them anyway.

You can fish for trevallies anywhere along the river.
To get to the 2nd mud flat, park at end of River Pde then walk the track past the beach area.

That really Sux's , keeping undersize fish let alone undersize Mulloway that have the potential to grow up to 60kg . Next time report them to the DPI , if possible get their car rego # & brief discription of them , it all helps going towards DPI's future operations etc .

Better way,
Just walk up to them.
Tell them they are undersize.
IF they don't put them back, grab the mulloway and throw them back and if they have something to say, drop them. Easy. Don't pussy foot around.
Got no time for people doing **** like that!
Don't be scared its for the fishing future.

Good lad. If they're taking undersized fish, they deserve what's coming to them.
Don't respect our marine ecosystem, we wont respect you.
Hate flogs like that.

Was there from 9am to noon. Lots of mullet still about. Caught another yakka; a gurnard and a baby flathead. All on pilchard. Fun times :)
