Fairhaven/lorne gps marks

Post by gman » Sat Oct 26, 2013 4:28 pm

I currently live in Townsville and I am heading down to fairhaven next week for an annual fishing trip. I know-leaving barra, mackerel , tuna etc what the???? but its my turn to travel. My friend has a zodiac and we are hoping to get offshore a little . Does anyone have some gps marks, general directions, or info on where we could head in the fairhaven, Aireys, lorne area to catch snapper or sharks. Not really interested in whiting or small fish as I have a tendency to just use them as bait. cheers

Just head offshore and bottom bash.

If you chasing tings its pretty easy to get them down there. Pump some bass yabbies at low tide.

Then just find a hole in about 4m of water. You will not get heaps but the ones you get will be donkeys, usually over 40cms.

PM if you have any more questions.
