Barwon River report

Started to put in a session each week for past 3 weeks down at Barwon Heads upstream between the mud flats.
Had some success with breams averaging 4 each week from 33 to 42cm using worms.
There were plenty of mullets to keep us busy. There were also heaps of under size kgw (~26cm) & salmons (all released)
Managed to hook 1 good size luderick last week, so hopefully will catch more.
The river is looking healthy with lots of birds about & beautiful sunrise.

It's been so long that when I checked my fishing licence last week, It was expired 10 mths ago.
Got a new one now.

It's further upstream from the sheepwash. I normally fish the sand area between the 1st & 2nd mud flats.
There are lots of snags along this area, so be prepare to loose some hooks & sinkers.
