I went down this afternoon/evening, it wasn't as frenetic as this morning from the sounds of it but still got onto some pretty big fish. The one we measured was 63cm and I let several more go without measuring that were around that size. I landed half a dozen fish and lost a similar number in the wash. Kept 2 for dinner, we'll see if poaching them in coconut milk and curry paste will make them edible

I could see them jumping around about 30m beyond my range which was a bit frustrating.

too long. you will not last 20 casts and your arms will drop. Been there done that, went back to 902.

I was standing where you guys were yesterday morning, could only land 1 and lost 2 before the tide gone out. Were your catches far away from shore? I was throwing 40g with a catana 902 and nasci 5000 10lb braid, a good 100m+ out but maybe the fish not around in big number and horse sizes like today :)))
