Oh did you chase squid off the rocks using 13 footer rod or was that someone else I saw?

That was also me. Forgot my squid gear and ended up landing a heap of calas on the same Messiah with 50lb braid and 60lb fluro carb on it.

2/3 sessions i've been spinning with it cos the sambos have been at extra long range. You 'can' do it, doens't mean you 'should', but that rod is super light and my normal spin rod is a 1002 atm anyway.

nah he went back. wasn't keen on the gunnas trudge. copped a face full of sand when he flicked his tail while dehooking. i removed the last of it from my eyes this morning lol

Hi all, the Herald friggin Sun newspaper has today put in their fishing report Salmon being caught at Gunnamatta...up to 2kg on blue bait and poppers on the incoming tide.....the bait fishos will flock there this week end...lol...i should be there also at first light with my metal lures...hoping fod a good session...Cheers...
