Saturday May 27, Gunna bash and meet up
Saturday is shaping up to be a northerly. If the forecast will hold, I will return to the Gunn and let some shiny metals loose. Anyone else planning to dust off their spin gears and let the rusts fall off?
Recommended attire:
board shorts
sweat shirt
Barefoot or sandals
Sunglasses
Time: First light
What to bring: Extra lures, rope, pliers, spin combo with 10 to 20 lb line
What not to bring: Water for Adam

I cant zoom well in bom.gov.au. Looks like it will be as high as 2 meters but if the 20-25 knots northerly will happen, it should be OK. Lets wait and see.mazman wrote:Check the swell Earl, far from ideal

The morning looks ok, so a first light session should be ok, swell prediction is for 2.5 to 3m by the evening.
Beach structure looks ok at high tide, not sure about at low tide, that may be a small issue, but always worth a shot.

Re: Saturday May 27, Gunna bash and meet up
Was hoping to get my little boat out off Stony PointSaturday but me thinks 25-35km Northerlys will keep her in the shed. Gunna might be a better call.
