4/1/13.

Another cracker at the Gun. Got there about 4.15, tried the area Brett and myself fished last night..10 mins in bang..decent sambo, it ran behind a group of people playing in the surf, I tried to yank it away, but popped it off in the process...the next 40 minutes were just a blast...lots of salmon around the kilo mark, kept three, chucked a few back...all round good fun.
FC joined in, but it had quietened off by then, so we headed up the beach, caught a few here and there, but not to the extent they were on earlier. A beautiful evening all the same, and even saw a pair of hooded plovers giving their chicks a run on the sand, very cool..
Gotta love Gunners...

Unfortunately not...

Bronzie or a 7-gill were responsible.

I found a massive gutter full of sambos on sunset.
