Short session before work - 11-1-13

Went down to gunners this morning got there at about 6:15 AM :sleepy1: , place was packed with bait soakers :Fishing_1: a massive school of mullet had arrived and it was almost a cast a fish. There was the odd silver trevally in the mix as well.

I decided to downgrade the tackle today and use the 4000 reel i have with 15lb braid as it has a faster gear ratio than the normal 6000 reel i use for spinning in the surf.

The weather was variable passing showers came in and soaked me twice. There was some lighting in the background. The rainbow came out and bang I had one hit and one conversion. :woohoo: That was it for 2 hours of spinning. :surrender:

Yeah always more fun to fish with some friendly people....but some people had commitments! :pfft:

The bait soakers were doing really well this morning......

Thanks mate, have to remember to bring some bushman's next time was eaten alive by march flies......nasty little buggers!
