They were everywhere when I was in gippsland too, scattered dead across the beaches.

Supposedly dead mutton birds who died from exhaustion flying south from North Hemisphere ... supposedly happens each year ... NEVER seen before ever! Love to know why so many this year? We saw them up North in Pittwater week before. So sad:( :titanic:

Maybe the huge Typhoon in Philippines caught them out???
