Spun the super low tide from 5ish to dark.

Nothing.

Not even so much as a sign of any fish.

Dead mutton birds everywhere. Beach has changed shape drastically and doesn't seem to be as steep or maybe i'm hallucinating.

That's a shame DougieK was hoping for sign of life from down there

Could be after the rough weather earlier this week. I was at philiip island and the same thing, beach had changed, mutton birds everywhere and dead salmon on the beach.

Had aimed to go down, but ended up picking up stuff for work...strange, strange goings on there...When I think back to this time last year, we were getting great catches, right through december...weird...

I blame the guy in the white van for taking all the salmon from Gunners or by scaring them away from Gunners.

I'm thinking i might switch to the rivers for trout or cod until it heats back up.

Was a perfect night and the GF took a million photos, i'll post a couple of the better ones when she's done processing them.

Dead salmon washed up on the beach you say? That's not a good sign.
