What are the weights of this pack? Looks the goods.

From memory, the heavy one is a sixty, which is pretty heavy...lol..couple of forties and a lighter one, of what weight I cant remember..I dont really use the pilchard type anyway, I like the baitfish type as they fly really well..

One 34cm fish this evening, will see about tomorrow.

Few of the bait guys got 4+ on surf poppers and whitebait.

Mine took a 40g gillies

Might be a stupid thought but was thinking of maybe attaching a surf popper to one of my lures at the top and see if that might stir up some action. But thinking maybe that might negate the action of the popper as it would travel through the water to fast. Might try it tomorrow

Ended up get a 40g blue gillies and a 50 lazer gold.

They had sold out of most of their surf spinning rods so hope my surf rod is going to do the trick.

Hoping to get down there about 20:00

On the upside, about two weeks ago during the bad wind i took the hooks off a 40g pilchard went down to a nearby paddock and worked on my casting. Admittedly i had a tailwind, but paced a cast walking back along the beach to 121m on a 40g slug. Finally getting the technique right.
