GUNNAMATTA 6.3.14

Post by JAYC » Fri Mar 07, 2014 12:57 am

Hi guys.
Fished gunnamatta thursday morning from about 10am-3pm. Fished about 100m left of the stairs and within 10 minutes of casting my rod hooked onto a very nice 35cm salmon. 15 minutes after that caught another one at 43cm and then another at 38cm. Got about 5 others but were all about 20-23cm and just abit small for my liking. Also hooked onto 3 crabs which were all released as im yet to get into gummy fishing. Baits used were bluebait and pilchards. Wanted to get a lure out also but had enough on my hands as it was. Hoping to get back down there next saturday to soak some baits and try out some plastics.
Cheers for the read :reel:

with temperature on the rise, the back beaches will be full in the next couple of days.
