Warneet report

Hey, my first post on this great site and just wondering if any1 has fished warneet pier this week and if so any luck?? Think about going down today. Hope to put a good report in later. Cheers dave

Tried Warneet out last weekend .. there was plenty plenty of seaweed collected for future Japanese Miso soup! Apart from that, the night was a waste. Should have driven further to Brighton and catch onto those pinkies everyone was hooking.

I know people catch some decent size squid off there.. I myself find it too weedy and i don't bother!

I fished there on Sunday evening.

Some observations:

-It was just after low tide and the tide was very fast
-Very shallow unless you cast into the channel.
-Weed, weed and more weed

I did see a few squid ink stains, but I wont be going back in a hurry...
