Well, it finally happened, after winning a few bucks on the dogs last night I've taken step towards the dark side and picked up a Gen Black.

Just got one myself, absolutely awesome rod

Picked up a Daiwa Exceler DX spooled with 6lb fins to go with it as well. :a_goodjob:

Yeah mate, only had a few quick flicks with it but it's an awesome rod, glad I went with it over a raider or impact nano, easily made it into my top 2 rods.
It's even better with a shimano reel on it.

Local tackle store got some new jigs in, and the special was too good to ignore so here we are. Also picked up the jig bag which is great cos I've been looking for one for a while but they seems to be hard to find!
