How you planning to.do beach launches?

Pa use to put a wheel barrow wheel as a jockey wheel for a river launch and he would unhook the trailer amd tie a rope to the trailer and the can and then push the trailer into the water and then he can pull the trailer out with the car without the tow bar digging into the ground

I'd rather a Belmont or Concorde or 540 osprey ,but nowhere to store it...lol
Belmont is still sometimes harsh and is still as wet af as the cobra. Only gain is standard underfloor fuel tank and a smidgen more room.

How do the Savages run vs the Quinnies? We had a 4.3 savage and then a 4.55 quinnie and it was night and day.

Think 4..55 boats r wider n deeper compared to ya 4.2 -4.3 boats.....
Has 50hp 2banger ...think cruising speed 4000 rmp was just over 22 knots....

Yeah, the savage was pre 2000, and the old 4.55 quinnie had the millenium hull, with a 60hp 4 stroke yammie on it so it cruised at 50km easily. Hence why I was curious how they compared.

So what's your answer to the age old question...which is better, aluminium or fibreglass?
