That's what it was like a the start of last season... still I'll wait and see, may even have to drown a worm for a change too.. :water:

cheers

Not long at all now. Bet you can’t wait.
It’s the same here mate. Blowing a gale and now starting to rain also.
Drowning a worm now that’s something Different coming from you.
When was the last time you bait fished? :)
Back in August 2013 was the last time, it was freezing cold but well worth it... :water:
A worthy catch (Medium).jpg
Nice Adrian!
A couple of beauty’s mate.

The smaller one on the left (left in the photo) went 1.1kg (2 lb 7 ozs) & the fat bugger on the right went 1.6 kg (3 lb 8 ozs) they were both well conditioned fish too, we had a good Winter back then with plenty of rain and they fattened up nicely.. Haven't had a lot of rain in the North this season so far, except for today as it's been heavy rain all afternoon so far.. they've actually given out flood warnings for several rivers which means there's been a lot of rain in the higher areas which is good.. The rivers need a flush out any way to get rid of the silt build up and debris etc.. will make for a good 2018-19 trout season..

cheers

Ordered another four of these little Pontoon21 Greedy Guts lures again yesterday from Master Angler, they're still in the Bargain Bin for $10 ea..
Not many left in the bin now.. I'm fully stocked up on the GagaGoon hard body lures, so thought I'd fill up with a few more of these.. :-D
cheers

I have always been a Daiwa man, so I'll be interested to see how the new Shimano stacks up
What line do you spool onto it?
