Had to go to portarlington this morning on my way home dropped into marios in moolap damm it was closed so called into trellys in shannon ave and topped up with some new squid jigs

My understanding is that these lures either aren't designed to be thrown at large predators instead with something along the lines of salmon and tailor in mind, as a result the rings and hooks they have used are prone to failure when used on larger species or the other possibility is that it is just them trying to save money and use cheap terminals
