Thanks Bill, I feel they'll do well on the trout too.. & yes Pam in an Angel for sure.. :tu:

Seb, these are small light weight blades, the Ghost blades only weigh 2.5 grams as they're graphite.. where as the Switchblades are 3.5 grams.
so I think they'll be okay in the Meander & Mersey Rivers..

cheers
Adrian
Robbie alexander in north east vic uses blades on trout regularly so it definitely works, interested to see how you go with them in your part of the world.

You should give the zman slim swims a go as well now that you're associated with TT, one of my go to's for trout.

Some new bits and pieces for me.

Big shout out to Dusk rods for the grips on the fly out fit, look mint and are incredibly nice to cast with.

Oh wow, some quality stuff right there!
Are you saying that is a custom grip on the Sage? Like a sock kinda thing you put yourself or they put them on?
What's the reason for it?
I have couple Sage roda and kinda like their cork grip.

Yeah the grip is a custom, retrofitted by a rod builder. Has more feel than cork, better grip, especially when wet and looks dope.

New rod and reel arrived today really happy with both fishing tackle shop and fastway with how little time i had to wait since i ordered saterday, it looks to have been packed sunday (the site showed it ready to ship sunday) and shipped monday and now here wensday with 1 day of travel from nsw and only a few hours from the time it was in the van to my place today.

Rod rovex specialist squid rod 7.6 foot

Reel rovex endurance 2000 because keep it as one brand if i have warrenty claims its only one place to contact. Now to buy more line for the reel.
Very nice
Thanks cant wait to go use it, also amazed no one commented on the location of the box (didnt want to get up and get the box again so it sits on my printer for now with my camera)

saph, congrats on the new rod & reel. I can imagine how excited you are, my Son gets all excited when the Postie passes the letterbox and comes up the driveway. So enjoy :tu:

That does remind me of my Son's room too , , , , well at least he keeps everyone safe with keeping invading troops and zombies at bay with his Playstation 15 , , , , are they up to 15 yet (boy I'm gett'n Old :( )

Look forward to the report of their first trip out :gj:
