It arrived this morning. Seems very solid (the metal body is nice) and spins well. I have a couple of Siennas FDs (2500 & 4000) and fancied something different for a light estuary rod I bought a few weeks back.

The only thing I don't like is that the handle is non-folding, meaning that when packing it up for transport, the entire handle has to be unscrewed.

The soft-grip on the winding bit is quite nice. Overall build-quality is pretty much on-par with the Siennas. Can't really comment on comparisons with more exy reels, as I don't have any! :-)

Haven't had a chance to try it out yet, or even spool it with the braid. Will give it a test run on the Gippy Lakes in a couple of weeks.
