Just bought a couple of the new Diawa Td Sol rods today they feel really good in the hand for flicking lures and they don't have the split grip which I'm a happy about .Will be pairing them up with the new Td Sol III reels in 2000 size when they go on sale in a few weeks time.

Yeah mostly for flicking lures in the fresh mate, I can also use them as a bream rod if the need arises.

They have a nice fast action Purples and after giving them a test at home they have a fair bit of power in butt section for such a light rod which is perfect for my needs and the tip section is not too whippy, just need to christen them with a fish or two once the reels come in :-D
