Borrowed a nice Diawa spin rod to cast lures for trout the other day was paired with a pflueger reel was a good setup the rod looks similar in build to the TD sol.

Rovex Big Boss II 3000 - on clearance at Dinga for a mere $39. Didn't really need it, but at the price, how could I resist?

Very nice, solid and smooth reel.

That's a great buy. I was also considering buying the boss 3000 for snapper. I have a 4000 i think somewhere in the shed that i used for beach fishing quite a while ago. Was pretty good reel...
