Fishing in Bali?

The missus and I are off to Bali in late July.

Has anyone got any experience or suggestions for fishing in Bali?

Any info on what to take, what fish to target, good fishing locations or charter boats would be greatly appreciated. :thumbsup:

Hay jon, my mates been to bali his told me lots of fun stories about him just diving there and just with a hand sling spearing fish.

Not too sure where he exactly was but he did say after couple hundred metres of diving it just dropped off to total darkness lol.

I reckon you should ask locals there or a tour guide for the bestest experience in that :lol:

Don't be afraid to use google, plenty of charters available and I'm sure they'd get you on to a few fish. Or you can just try a few local piers, lakes or rivers and you might get something.

The fishing in Bali is very hit and miss...some very good fish to be caught around July

Adhek is supposed to be one of the best if you are targetting dogtooth tuna and ruby snapper ....as well as GTs. Best tactic is probably jigging, although live baits if you can get them will work even better.
