Fly fishing for flathead
hey guys, just wondering if anybody on the board gets involved with Swoffing for flatties? i've been having a bit of luck catching them on SP and thought it might be laugh on a 4wt slinging clousers?
any feedback would be cool, if not i'll experiment myself and let y'all know

i'll let you know, i'll need to grab seperate reel and get it spooled with some intermediate or full sinking line me thinks.

Walk the shallows when they’re sunbaking and swoff clousers or anything with a bit of a tail. Short strips with a few pauses & you’ll see them hit. You’re by catch could be whiting, eps & bream

As flathead predominantly sit on the sea bed you will have to target that area normally people who fly fish target salmon
