Fished Berwick Springs for trout. One rod had powerbait the other had a worm. Couple bites on the worm that was it. Fished from 1pm- 5. No luck.

I split my time between Glen WAverley and Mornington. Seem to be in Mornington a lot at the moment.

Not sure how Auravale fishes in the winter but it's a great redfin spot.

I take the wire out of all of my TD's and just tie a treble on with a bead. The reverse tassie devil swims well although i've honestly never caught a fish with it rigged that way.

Rowville and Karkarook are good options in the next few weeks as they've jsut been stocked but please respect that the family fishing lakes are meant for kids and practice catch and release. Auravale I haven't actually fished since january but rarely miss on redfin if I have more than an hour there.

Happy to catch up sometime and exchange ideas, techniques and dirty jokes :)

Hey mate, yeah would love to catch up. I defs will catch and release except, i will be a little selfish. I have never tried trout and if i catch, i want to bring one home. Any others, happy to release.
