Emerald Lake tonight!

picked up some powerbait i've been meaning to try and i'm going to head down to emerald lake tonight nad soak it while i throw some spinners around.

Anyone been down here recently?

I fished there once when i was about 13 on my own and caught half a dozen trout. Must have been the day after they stocked it or something. That was 16 years ago mind you,.

My young bloke at Emerald lake about 6 years ago.It went about 1400g.

That's a nice fish...but I might wait till it is stocked agian later in the year to plan my trip there.
Might even take the family and ride puffing billy to get there, make a full day of it

Spot on F.C. The young bloke led it to shore like leading a dog although the observant might notice it is a bit beyond "tired" in that shot.For those thinking of having a crack up there,I was told to fish that channel that runs along the steepest bank and concentrate around that drain thing at the bottom.

I got there late at 630 and it said gates close at 7, i had a look around but didn't go fishing and hit up auravale on the way home instead.

Is there something wrong with the colorations of that brown?

This is from being in a lake for ages , no fresh running stream water , has become like a brook trout in the american lakes, I think ?
